"If Today Was Your Last Day"

If today was your last day
Would you dwell on the past
Or would you say goodbye to yesterday
If today was your last day
Would you help out a stranger
Or would you stand by and do nothing
If today was your last day Would you speak out your mind
Or remain silent

If today was your last day
Would you surround yourself with friends and family
Or surround yourself with emptiness
If today was your last day
Would you have a smile on your face
Or will it be a look of fear
If today was your last day
Will you forgive those that hurt you
Or will you still hold a grudge

If today was your last day
What will your final day be like
Will it be full of fun or full of grief
If today was your last day
Will you find the strength within
Or will you remain cold and lonely
If today was your last day
Will you live life the same
Or will you live life to the fullest once more
If today was your last day

THIS LAST POEM is showing us the two different options we'd have if it was our last day. We could either be miserable that we will never live another day, or we could live that last day like we don't have a care in the world. I'd prefer to live it to the fullest, like it says in the end of the poem and do things I've never done before.
